I use a HIPAA-compliant interface from Simple Practice to hold therapy sessions (unless you are a client through Rula, which will use Zoom). You can attend session on a computer, tablet, or cellphone. If you are having session on a laptop or computer, you will use a link I send to access the session. To download the app on your on phone or tablet, click on the vendor: Apple or Android. If these links don’t work, search for “Telehealth by Simple Practice.”
Prior to or the day of our session, I will send you a link that is specifically for that session. Please make sure to mark Simple Practice as an acceptable sender so it doesn’t get caught in your spam filter.
Please note: At the time of our session, I must confirm that you are physically in the state in which I am licensed. I am licensed in California and Texas. If you are not in either of these states, I legally and ethically cannot provide services.
Additionally, please make sure you have privacy for your session, and are in a place that is safe. Driving a car is not safe, and I won’t hold a session, but if you are in a parked car for privacy, we can proceed.
